On December 15, 1791 James madison declared the first amendment. It protects Freedom of speech, religion and the press.
December 6, 1865 is when Abraham Lincoln made the 13th amendment that made slavery illegal everywhere in the U.S
It was ratified on February 3, 1870. Lyndon B. Johnson made the 15th amendment to where any race, color and gender can vote.
