This is a picture of a Spinning Jenny. The spinning Jenny was made in 1764. The spinning jenny was made by James Hargreaves.
The spinning Jenny will change the world because it allowed massive reproduction in the work needed to produce a piece of cloth. The amount of thread you could fit in the spinning jenny went up making clothes faster.
The machine used eight spindles onto which the thread was spun from a corresponding set of roving. By turning a single wheel, the operator could now spin eight threads at once. In the future they made it so 80 pieces of thread could spin at once.
