In the Quartering act people in the army were able to go in peoples houses without permission and order them around and the people that own the houses and live there have to do stuff for them, and they were able to live in their house for as long as they needed

Lord North may have thought he could persuade Americans to buy taxed tea by making it so cheap, but colonists weren't fooled. They saw the Tea Act as still another attempt to tax them without their consent.
