- In 1763 there was a proclamation where they didn't want people to cross this river.

- They wanted people to buy a stamp every time someone used a piece of paper

- In the Quartering act people in the army were able to go in peoples houses without permission and order them around and the people that own the houses and live there have to do stuff for them, and they were able to live in their house for as long as they needed
- The Tea Act
- *dumps tea in ocean*
- In the Townshend acts they increased peoples taxes and the taxes were extreme where they protested for the taxes to go down because of how extreme the taxes prices were.
- There was a small riot. Trouble had been brewing in Boston for months before the riot.

- the tea company was in danger of going broke unless it could sell off the 17 million pounds of tea that were sitting in its warehouses. Lord North may have thought he could persuade Americans to buy taxed tea by making it so cheap, but colonists weren't fooled. They saw the Tea Act as still another attempt to tax them without their consent.
