Hi I'm Landon Craig I just read the book Rumble Fish
One of the life lessons in Rumble Fish is that life isn't fair. One example is when Rusty's dad got his check for the month he spent it all on beer for himself and didn't give Rusty any of the money.
Another life lesson in the book is to make good decisions. Rusty makes a lot of bad choices in the book that most of the time end up getting him into fights or trouble.
A charter trait of Rusty is mischievous and troublesome. He's very mischievous and likes to do bad things that end up getting him in trouble and into a lot of fights.
A charter trait of Steve is responsible, even if he makes a bad choice he's responsible about it like when he drank the wine he said to Rusty "remind me to chew gum on the way home."
I liked the book Rumble Fish. I think it had some valuable life lessons in it, it also had a lot of times that kept you on the edge of your seat and engaged in the book.
