I think adding in LGBQT+ issues and history into our curriculum would help make everyone feel more seen and heard in class.
Also making punishments for harassing and bullying people for being LGBTQ+ harsher. It might make people feel more safe and like they can come you you guys and tell you about it.
You’re definitely right everyone deserves to feel safe and accepted while also being themselves. Thank you for bringing this up I’ll talk to the school board this week about this
