  • Neo-Babylonian Empire
  • Wwoohhoo!
  • Hello people I am your amazing ruler, King nebuchadnezzar
  • In the Babylonian Empire it was unusually fair. Slaves could own money, have their own property, and even buy themselves out of slavery. Women were able to own their own property and money as well.
  • Hammurabi
  • Wow! This prison seems pretty harsh.
  • The Assyrian Empire had the best and newest weapons like spears. They also had great war strategies like fighting in tight formations with shielded people in front and people with spears in the back.
  • Hammurabi's Code
  • King Nebuchadnezzar also drove Egyptians out Israel. When Israelite's tries to fight back he took the Israelite's captive. He also reined from about 605 to 561 B.C.E. Neo-Babylonian lasted about 75 years.
  • Hammurabi made a code in 1750 B.C.E. It was active till 1686 B.C.E.He made the rules to teach people to never commit crimes. He needed rules to govern unified groups. Upper class people got worst punishments. This was the case because the upper class had more money and power to go against him, and overrule him.
  • I told you punishments here ar harsh.
  • In Hammurabi´s code there were 228 rules. That meant it covered everybody´s situations. There was a punishment for every single crime. Every rule was very specific. All of the consequences were very extreme.
