Aphrodite asks her son, Eros, to shoot Psyche with one of his arrows (Call to adventure)
Eros leaves and attempts to shoot Psyche (Crossing the threshold) He tries to shoot her but shoots himself (Challenges or Trials)
Without Eros shooting his arrows, marriages stopped, no babies were born, and the whole world went downhill.
Eros's special weapon is his arrows. Once he shoots someone with them, they fall in love with the first person they see.
