  • The Quartering Act was when Britain ordered the colonists to allow British soldiers to stay in there home and provide food, water, and shelter. This made the colonists furious. They wanted to protest
  • Boston Tea Party
  • The French and Indian war left Britain with huge debts. Britain thought that the colonists should pay the money, so in 1765, the Stamp Act became a law. The Stamp Act said that the colonists needed to pay extra money on everyday items.
  • The Intolerbale Acts
  • In Boston colonists were furious! They got into fights with soldiers. On March 5, 1770, a group of colonists started calling some soldiers mean names. The Captain told the soldiers not to fire, but one soldiers thought he said: "Fire!," and five people died from the incident.
  • Britain made the colonists pay taxes on tea. The colonists drink tea everyday. The colonists were furious. To protest, some men dressed up as Native Americans, and went onto the British ship. Then they dumped all of their tea off the boat, and into the water.
  • After the Boston Tea Party, Parliament decided to punsih the colonists by passing the Inolerable Acts. These acts included: The Boston Port Act, and The Stamp Act. It was a very harsh time for the colonists.
  • What!? The Harbor is closed! This is outrages!
