Many people when flu season comes around a majority of people will go and receive their flu shot, the rest of people it is either inconvenient for them or they have religious beliefs that prevent them form receiving any kind of vaccines
Ehhh, I won't get the flu this year, I'm strong enough!
I'll disobey my god
The non government organization, the red cross wanted to make sure that the majority of people across the country received their flu shot and with this make it easier to get it.
In order to make it more convenient the Red Cross created a program called "Vaccines on Wheels". This is where multiple Red Cross vans will drive to houses where residence need the flu shot and give it to them. This will create an increase in the amount of people receiving the vaccine.
Many people when diagnosed with the flu or any sickness, decide not to stay home from work in fear of pay cuts or losing their job all together.
I can't skip work for a day or I wont get paid, I will not stay home.
I'm afraid to say that you have the flu and will need to stay home for a few days
When these people go back to work they actually spread the flu even more. Paid Leave US has a plan to solve this problem.
That's so disgusting, you should be at home.
Sorry if I coughed on your food, I have the flu
This organization will help enforce the policy that flu victims are to stay home from their job, yet they are still supposed to make full wage, this way it will be much harder for the flu to spread among the working people of the country.
