Storyboard Text

  • Man is the only creature that consumes without producing. He does not give milk, he does not lay eggs, he is too weak to pull the plough, he cannot run fast enough to catch rabbits. Yet he is lord of all the animals.
  • And, above all, no animal must ever tyrannize over his own kind. Weak or strong, clever or simple, we are all brothers. No animal must ever kill any other animal. All animals are equal.”
  • you do not imagine, I hope, that we pigs are doing this in a spirit of selfishness and privilege? Many of us actually dislike milk and apples. I dislike them myself. Our sole object in taking these things is to preserve our health
  • Old mayor giving a speech to some of the animals about Animalism to inspire the animals to rebel
  • He is dead... I had no intention of doing that. I forgot that I was wearing iron shoes. Who will believe that I did not do this on purpose?
  • The pigs come together to create the 7 commandments based on Old Mayor's speech and start the beginning of the rebellion
  • What matter? We will build another windmill. We will build six windmills if we feel like it.
  • The pigs reserve all the milk and apples for themselves. This begins the inequality.
  • Drag them out
  • Battle of the Cowshed: Mr. Jones comes back to reclaim his farm. The animals win this battle due to snowball's plans. This was a big cause of violence and resulted in the death of a stable boy.
  • Battle of the Windmill: Frederick and his men attack the windmill and destroy it but the animals are still victorious
  • Many of the animals are killed which represent the purges in real life
