Adonis lives in the ancient Greek city of Miletus with his family. Adonis's family made most of their money from trading wool with neighboring countries.
One day while visiting the market to get fresh eggs for breakfast, Adonis saw a theif steal from one of the stands. Immidiatly, Sybaris ran after the theif to try and stop him, but it was too late. Instead, the knights thought Adonis was the theif and immidiatly sent him to jail.
Adonis had two choices, he could serve his sentence of 15 years in jail and then be released or he could fight against a glatiator in the anual turnament. If he won, he would be set free and realesed of charges.
Adonis did not want to spend 15 years of his life in jail, he already desperatly missed his family. Sybaris only had one choice, and that was to fight.
On the day of the annual tournament, Adonis was realesed from jail and sent to the stadium to fight.
Adonis awaited nerviously outside the stadium, the stadium that would determin his fate.
