- I don't want you to talk to Nick anymore, because Duncan doesn't like him.

- Cathy Wilson goes to work for the Harvey family to take care of the children since her mother had died, but on the way she encounters a tree that hinders her route, there she meets Nick, who takes her to Duncan's house on the beach.
- ACT 4: FALLING ACTION
- Because she wanted to leave me and go with you. She loved you. ¿But did you love her?

- Mrs. Harvey arbitrarily forbids Cathy to see Nick again, because her family has a bad relationship with him. Cathy begins to suspect that the Harvey family is hiding something.
- ACT 5: DENQUEMENT
- Mrs. Harvey who did the night Miranda died ?
- I pushed Miranda with my cane, I didn't want her to die, I just wanted to hurt her so she wouldn't leave us.
- Cathy goes to the bookstore to look for information about what happened to Miranda, there she finds a diary from that time where she discovers that Miranda had an accident on the stairs of the beach house and dies hours later in the hospital.

- Cathy asks Nick to get together to talk about Miranda's accident, taking advantage of the fact that Duncan was going out with his children, not knowing that he would be there.
- In the kitchen of the house, Cathy decides to talk to Mrs. Harvey to find out what happened that night, discovering a terrible truth. Despite what happened Cathy decides to stay in the house with Duncan and the children.
