In September 1939 the British army arrives in France and prepare for war.
In the early months of 1940, the German army pushed though belgium and into france
By may of 1940, German army pushed the British and French armies to the English channel at Dunkirk.
At the end of may to the beginning of June 1940, the English small boats( civilian boats) came and rescued the soldiers and brought them home.
The perimeter around Dunkirk was shrinking every day leading the British worried for there army.
The British kept sending ships to evacuate their army but, the ships were sinking due to air attacks.
