- Stacy knows that the way her friends use alcohol, which is often to the point of blacking out, is categorized as alcohol abuse.
- Same! Omg wait, I snuck vodka into camp for tonight… who’s down to have some?
- Overall, this is a decision that Stacy has to make herself, because her friends are the one's intoxicated, which means they are drunk or under the influence.
- Another option I have is to hang out with other people instead of my friends who are drinking
- A third option is to consult a counselor about what to do, because chances are they've had more experience with this than I have.
- One of the options that I have is to drink with my friends, which is clearly alcohol misuse.
- I'm really happy with the choice that I made last night. Physically this was a good choice because I didn't underage drink and become intoxicated. Social-emotionally this was.the right choice because I made so many new friends who have the same values that I do. l also didn't get my old friends in trouble but was able to make the right decision for myself.
- The pro of hanging out with other people is that I wouldn't waste my last night of camp on getting drunk
- The con of hanging out with other people is that my friends might get mad at me or feel hurt.
