Ok class Newton's law of motion is important because it describes gravity, without gravity we would all just be floating. Newton's law of motion also describes mass and acceleration. Without those we would not have friction and friction is what slows things down. Newton's laws of motion also describes equal and opposite reactions. Without equal and opposite reactions we would just fall through things that you sit or lean on.
What would happen if I kicked the ball? The ball will stay at rest unless acted on by a greater force.
What would happen if I hit the brakes? the car will remain in motion unless acted on by outside force.
Newtons first law of motion states that an object at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an outside force. This means that a ball will not move unless kicked
Newton's second law of motion states that a greater force will result in greater acceleration and a greater mass will result in less acceleration
With that the lesson has ended I hope you were listening and see you next time
