  • I really need to remember those numbers of gold and camel? I'm the Griot I need to be able to tell the stories and combine Mansa Musa's Hajj with music and dances.
  • There are about 100~300 pounds of gold on each camel. There's a total of 60,000 people, 4000 miles of distance, 1000 camels and a total amount of 24,000 pounds of gold!

  • During Mansa Musa's Hajj, he gave away most of the gold he brought to poor people and building as he travel, Mansa Musa sonly became really famous in Africa.

  • People invite Mansa Musa to met their king, but Mansa Musa said that "I'm only traveling for my HAjj but not else."

  • It took one entire year for Mansa Musa to finish his Hajj, after that, he built up universities, more cities and towns, to let people from different countries travel to Mali for better educations and better life. He also built up a trading center and became on of the richest in the whole world history.
  • In now days, you can still find the map of Mansa Musa With his Mali kingdom, you can see Mansa Musa, the richest person with a total of 420 billion dollars. Sitting on a golden chair, holding a piece of gold and a golden Scepter, now also to commemorate the Most brilliant years in Africa.
