Gandhi and Macauley meet to talk about the Indian Education System upon Macauley's request.
Namaste Macauley ji. I see you have requested my presence to discuss the education system.
Mornin' Gandhi. And yes, I have called you here to discuss India's backwards education system.
I am sorry but I do not agree with you. English is not India’s language.
I think it must be made compulsory for everyone in India to learn English.
It would actually be good to make it the national language. Indians will find it easy to communicate with the rest of the world.
Indians should first learn their national language Hindi and their mother tongue.
They can learn English as a supplementary language.
Well, I am not really sure that doing so would benefit them.
Maybe you feel so, but I am sure that my country needs to first be educated in its languages before a foreign language.
Then it's a good thing that I don't care what you think old man. I will make sure that all you barbaric Indians learn the English language, whether you like it or not
Well then it's a good thing that I'm going to stop you and free my country from you Britishers. Now if you'll excuse me, I have another meeting with my dear friend Nehru. Goodbye...or as you say in your country, Cheerio
And with that, Gandhi sashays away like a total boss leaving a speechless Macauley behind
