  • Lets start our parabola search in a school auditorium. The curtain hangs to a parabola to be more appealing to the audience
  • Now that we are outside you see that the windows and doors are arched.these parabolas are to make the outside more apealing.
  • Getting on the bus you can see the top of the bus is a parabola. This is to divert water off the bus and give the most height to the center.
  • In shooting a Basketball it archs in the air into a parbola. This happens in other sports like football, baseball, soccer, and golf.
  • When a plane takes off and lands it make a big parabola. This is to get up to thinner air where they can fly faster. 
  • The mouth of this old fireplace is opened by a Parabola. This is there for both structural support and looks
