  • In " Sleepy Hallow " by Washington Irving a young man named Ichabod loves a beautiful, rich, young lady named Katrina.
  • Ichabod is a teacher in the town Sleepy Hallow who loves food and thinks about it all the time.
  • Ichabod and Katrina dance together and have a good time. Brom gets jealous. He " Ichabod " wants to marry Katrina even though Brom Bone likes Katrina.
  • Brom tells a tale about the headless horsman to scare Ichabod. Ichabod believed the story and started shaking.
  • Ichabod finally goes and rides home. As Ichabod rides home on his horse he see's the headless horseman. After that Ichabod was never to be seen again.
  • The moral of the story " Sleepy Hallow " by Washington Irving is to always be kind or bad things will happen to you.
