Storyboard Text

  • The employer is telling the young worker to bring over the forklift. The only problem is that the young boy has never driven the forklift before, but he is too afraid to ask his employer to show him how to drive it.
  • Bring the forklift over here son!
  • Uhh... Ok Boss!
  • The young worker is now trying to convince himself that he can do it. Even though he has seen many other guys do it before, he has never been taught to do it himself, but he does not want to seem incompetent.
  • Okay, I can do this.
  • The young worker is trying to figure out the machine as he goes. He feels pressured to go quickly or he thinks that his boss will be angry with him
  • So this lever goes this way... I think I'm supposed to press this button here... Whoops!
  • Slowly, the young worker begins to gain speed and back out of the alley and begins to head over to where his boss told him to bring the forklift. He begins to gain confidence and speeds up.
  • Slow and steady... I'm doing it!
  • The young worker is going way too fast and loses control of the forklift. The boss tries to yell at him to slow down but it is too late.
  • Too fast boy!! Slow down!!
  • I cant!! AAAGGHH!!
  • The young worker has sustained a head injury and broken his legs, as the forklift has landed on him. If the boss had just taken the time to show the boy how to operate it, none of this would have happened.
  • Someone call an ambulance!! Help!!
