Storyboard Text

  • Yeah, I did. Most of it is from carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases released into the air. These emissions are because of the use of fossil fuels.
  • Did you know that climate change has become a huge problem in recent years?
  • There are many debates and organizations that focus on global warming, but we should take action. The best way to do this is to switch to geothermal energy.
  • One reason we should switch is because producing geothermal energy doesn't require the US to import fuel from other countries.
  • And a final reason is that creating geothermal energy also creates jobs. Right now, the geothermal industry provides jobs for 35,000 Americans.
  • Another reason for switching is because geothermal energy can be made around the clock, no matter what the weather is.
  • It is also a clean and renewable source, producing little to no greenhouse gases.
