  • Hello father I'm Phaethon. I'm the son you made a promise that you would let me ride the chariot one day ANd now you have to complete your promise because you know you can't break promises
  • The setting is greece. The main characters are Phaethon and Epaphus. It started with Phaethon and Epaphus were racing. Epaphus started to bragg about his dad and Phaethon got mad and started making up all these lies about his dad and saying his dad lets him ride the sun chariot and Phaethon had to prove his lies.
  • Climax
  • Phaethon started his journey to go see his father Apollo. It took him a while to get to his father. At one point he was losing energy and kind of wanted to give up. Apollo had to send some of his people to go look for him.
  • Falling action
  • oh no i'm going to be in big trouble
  • Phaethon makes Apollo believe that they made a promise that he will let him ride the sun Chariot one day. He had told Apollo to remember that gods can't break promises. Phaethon made Apollo believe him and let him ride the sun chariot.
  • Resolution
  • Sorry I have to save them
  • Phaethon decide to move the sun chariot closer to earth. He did that to prove to Epaphus that its him riding the sun chariot. He had also told Epaphus that he would circle around his house ceveral times so he could see him riding the sun chariot
  • just a little closer my father won't know
  • Phaethon put the people from his town in danger. he put them in danger by getting to close to earth 
  • Phaethon ended up dieing. He died because Zeus killed him to save everyone else.
