Eurydice was picking flowers with her maidens for her wedding, when she was bitten by a snake and slowly died.
Orpheus learned the death of his future wife, so he went to the door of the underworld to retrieve her and bring her back.
He played his beautiful lyre, getting past the three-headed dog and making Charon forget to ask him to pay.
Orpheus finally gets to Hades lair, asking him to bring his loved Eurydice back.Hades makes a promise. He has to leave the underworld, and don't look back until you are out, then behind you, is your beloved Eurydice.
Orpheus accepted the deal, leaving the underworld. But he stopped at the entrance, almost out, wondering if Hades tricked him.
Eurydice was there, a faint wisp, but vanished and whispered, "Farewell my love."
Orpheus mourned for his future wife, playing terrible music all day long. People heared it for weeks.
The Woman Of Thrace finally had enough of Orpheus, and murdered him.
