Storyboard Text

  • I'm trying to solve this math problem on dividing fractions. But it's impossible!
  • Hi. What are you doing?
  • I can help you with that. Follow me.
  • So, how do I divide fractions?
  • First of all, you need to learn a technique called KCF.
  • The K means keep. You keep the first fraction as it is. The C means change, and that means changing the division sign to multiplication. The F means to flip. You put the denominator on top and the numerator on bottom.
  • Oh! I get it! But do you know how to multiply fractions?
  •  Oh, yeah I do. It's a lot easier than dividing fractions.
  • That's a relief.
  • You just multiply the numerators and the denominators straight across.
  • That's it!?! You're right! This IS a lot easier!
  • Thanks for helping me understand multiplying and dividing fractions.
  • No problem. Just ask me if you need help with anything else.
