  • Spanish and Pueblos relations
  • How the Pueblo felt about changing
  • Pope's plan
  • Enough is enough, we cannot live with the Spanish controlling us forever. We will have our attack in 3 days, and will wear a rope with a knot for the countdown
  • The Spanish treated the Pueblos very poorly by making them slaves and making them supply their food and water
  • The Pueblo's revolt
  • When the Spanish came, they did not like the religion the Pueblos practices thinking it was witchcraft. So, they burned their chuhes and even made the convert to  Catholicism. The Pueblos were extremely angry
  • The Spanish's flee to El Paso
  • Pope had gathered all the Pueblo Indians together telling them about the revolt they would have against the Spanish, to have their freedom back
  • The peaceful return
  • When the day finally came, the Indians had to walk very long was with very little food or water and their feet bleeding. Although the Spanish do have more advsnced weapons, they did kill many, but, there were so many Indians and they wouldn't give up. Finally, the Spanish decided to give up, and fleed to El Paso 
  • The Spanish finally got tired, and had so many soldiers and priests killed, that they gave up and fleed to El Paso .
  • The Spanish came back 12 years later as well as Vargas, and he was willing to come with no harm, peacefulness and no  commands.
