When Pastor Dan tells Lev to run from being tithed Lev is very confused, but he realizes what Pastor Dan says is true. When he thinks about what Pastor Dan had said he feels many different emotions, and realizes that he doesn't want to be unwound

The realization that Roland is very powerful will help Connor. He will try to avoid fights with Roland since he knows that Roland wants to fight with him. Conor might also tr to fight less with others.
After the nurse told Connor that he had a new arm he realized that it was Roland's arm. This might change his perception of the arm and he might feel bad for Roland.
The question "If every part of you is alive but inside someone else... are you alive or are you dead?" makes me wonder if you were unwound would you be alive. If you are alive after unwinding, I wonder if you would be able to think coherently.
The question of "would you rather die or be unwound?" makes me wonder what people would choose between the option of dying or being unwound. Would people that don't know what either option brings be able to choose.
