Storyboard Text

  • The twin sons of Rhea Silvia, Romulus and Remus, were sent down the Tiber River by Amulius, as he feared they would one day threaten his power as king.
  • The twins were washed up under a fig tree called Ruminalis, and then fed for and cared for by a she-wolf and a woodpecker
  • Later in life, the two powerful boys killed Amulius, and gave Numitor back his powerNext, they went out to found their own city
  • After Romulus built a wall in his desired location and Remus jumped over it, Romulus angrily killed him
  • The brothers disagreed on the location of the city
  • The city of Rome was then founded in that location, on the Palestine Hill
