Hi, there! I'm Claude and I aspire to become a paleontologist like my dad and this is a story of how I realized who I want to be.
Woah, Of course! I want to come dad!
It all started one morning. We were eating breakfast and Dad suddenly asked me if I wanted to come with him. Mom displayed a worried loo. Well, she was always worried for my safety.
Well, since you're so curios about my work, why don't you come with me next time? What do you think, son?
Will he be safe there?
Then, the most anticipated day came. Dad took me to his work. He said he's a paleontologist and he works with bones and fossils. They can even discover dinosaurs!
Hey, did you know that...A paleontologist is a scientist who studies the history of life on Earth through the fossil record. Fossils are the evidence of past life on the planet and can include those formed from animal bodies or their imprints (body fossils).
Radioactive isotopes, such as 14C, decay exponentially. The half-life of an isotope is defined as the amount of time it takes for there to be half the initial amount of the radioactive isotope present.
Wow! That's so cool
Isotopes are a great help in my field of work.
Due to my amazement with how isotopes work, when, I immediately sat down in front of my computer and searched about how they work with fossils.  To my surprise, they help a lot with discoveries!
.Carbon is a key element in biologically important molecules. Therefore, organisms from a single-celled bacteria to the largest of the dinosaurs leave behind carbon-based remains.
A few years  of pursuing my dreams later, I graduated and became a paleontologist like my dad. I really love my job. Discovering a fossil's age from millions of age with the help of isotopes is surely amazing.
