  • This is the  Tibet-Qinghai Plateau.  This area is also refered to the "roof of the world" because it is 13,500 feet above sea level. As well as two of china's major rivers flow through this area.

  • This is the Taklimakan Desert.  This desert covers 105,000 square miles. And the name means "once you go in you will not come out."  And there is a legend that 2 armies that are berried underground.
