After the revolution the national spirit was stronger than before. This new republican government the word republic was not connected to political parties
Citizens liked the new ideals of civic republicanism to promote the common good and protect liberty. Although Woman were not all that affected by the revolution or republican. They stayed as wife’s wife limited rights
But some did start teaching their children republican ideas. This would be known as republican motherhood.
Early 1800 women would become typical housewife: maintaining the house, accepting orders by their husbands, and teach their children the republican ways. Most of these woman did not get a education

an American revolution lady by the name of Abigail Adams claimed that to educate males woman should be taught the same thing. Judith Sargent Murray expanded upon Abigail’s ideas. And created a schools for woman specifically the Catharine Beecher.
The woman were taught everything a man would have been taught. Their work was very influential and they created organizations to help with problems. These organizations would sometimes be anti social groups to secure rights.
