  • Enola Holmes is a mystery and crime movie revolving around the adventures of Sherlock Holmes's intelligent and fearless younger sister, Enola Holmes. Set in the 1880s of Victorian London, Enola makes a plan to find her mother after her sudden disappearance, only to end up in another mystery tied with the country's political situation.
  • Enola Holmes was rather the antonym of the definition of a "lady" in that period. Her mother, defying social norms, didn't send Enola to school, but taught her other matters like, science experiments, jujitsu, tennis, and more.
  • This movie is pretty amazing overall, although the storyline was quite predictable. Enola Holmes was more straight-to-the-point, not having as many hidden clues as compared to other movies of this genre. If you don't necessarily care about figuring out the mysteries as you watch, this might fit the bill.
  • Other than those flaws, Enola Holmes sends a powerful message nonetheless. The movie not only tells the story, but also gives insight about feminism, values, and conservatism in the Victorian 1880s. The main character herself is an interesting individual, and a good role-model for young kids and teenagers.
  • Enola Holmes is a great movie. It never fails to inspire me every time I re-watch it. I loved the character portrayals from the actors. It was fascinating to learn about the past and enjoy the sceneries. It's a good representation for feminism. Also, the familial bond between Sherlock and Enola was heart-warming, and the light romance isn't too cheesy.
  • The movie is highly worth watching, and I recommend others to see it. With such an intriguing main character, thrilling plot, exciting action, and excellent cinematography, it is easily a top-notch movie that you cannot miss.
