- Explanation: Abigail has accused Elizabeth of attempting to kill her, by placing a needle in a poppet that was given to her by Mary Warren. In the picture is Elizabeth Proctor, John Proctor, and John Hale. Elizabeth is being arrested and brought to court, but John disagrees with what is happening and believes that Elizabeth did nothing, and that they should ask Abigail questions.
