  • carbon moves from fossil fuels to the atmosphere when fuels are burned at factories, power plants, and vehicles
  • to get rid of these gases and the carbon dioxide here plants use a process called respiration
  • the carbon is found in the biosphere with living and dead organisms and could also be found as carbon dioxide in the atmosphere
  • when the fossil fuels burn it releases the carbon into the atmosphere as carbon dioxide gas
  • we remove around 29% of the atmospheric carbon as well as we look beautiful and smell amazing
