  • Where do I go? Should I go with the militia?
  • South Sudan, Luna-Arrik 1985Salva Dut and others from Luna-Arrik running to safety.(The beginning of the war of South and North Sudan)
  • Salva and other villagers are taken to a camp where they are separated, Salva is trying to find out if he should go to the war or where to go. He is then placed with the women and children and they begin to walk.
  • Salva and the women and children all find shelter and sleep there. He wakes up to a weird feeling but realizes everyone is gone he is now alone...
  • Salva becomes a leader of 1,500 lost boys of the group of the lost boys and leads them to kenya to a refugee camp.
  • Salva and the lost boys get there and to kenya and he and other kids stay there for six years and some of them die because of diseases and the harsh conditions.
  • Salva got an opportunity to go to the us and now he made an organization for clean water for South Sudan called the (WFSS)
