  • In the Climax, Madam Loisel finally tells Mrs. Forestier that she lost the necklace that she borrowed and has been paying it off for the last ten years.

  • Madam Forestier realizes how poor Madam Loisel is and wants to help by offering help to get the Loisels back on their feet again but Madam Loisel knows better.

  • Madam Loisel is the main character with Monsieur Loisel being her husband, and Madam Forestier being her friend whom has a child in the climax and resolution.
