  • “Are you wearing the prescribed dry suit with helmet and gloves?”
  • “Estimated time of return?” So, he wasn’t to be questioned further.
  • “Affirmative.”
  • “Uh, 1800 hours.”
  • " The pod master had said that trees had been extinct for hundreds of years."
  • Rising Action

  • "Brook is your name."
  •  Brock is getting ready to go out to explore the outside world because he has been curious to see what it look like in the outside world.
  • Conflict
  • “And how are we going to raise a pack of dogs in a dome? One is nearly eating and drinking us out of test tube and petri dish. We can’t go on this way. As drastic as it may seem, we have to be realistic. Besides, no one has had the chance to do actual experiments since the dark ages. Haven’t you ever, just once, yearned to compare virtual research with actual?”
  • Brock had saw a tree for the first time and he had remember when the pod master had told him that trees has been extinct for hundreds of years. And then he hears a weird sound.
  • Falling Action
  • for the first time Brock see a dog for the first time and tries to see if he put a pellet on his hand to see if it will come near him or will it jut run a way. And so the dog had came near him and ate the pellet, and Brock had tried to think of a name for it and he had name the dog Brook.
  • Resolution
  • “Cloning—it’s the only thing to do. If she’s the last, we owe it to posterity to keep the line going.”
  • “What about the boy? He won’t agree. Interfacing daily with the dog, he’s become crippled by primal urges.”
  •  after he had gotten back from the trip he had also brought Brook with him and he and brook had went threw quarantine, he had stay in the quarantine room with Brook. That night he had heard the scientist talking about how they can clone Brook.
  • “Can you think what chaos might ensue if a flood of primordial7 emotions were to surface in a controlled environment such as ours?” another asked. “Apparently, emotions are easily triggered by interactions with primitive beasts, like dogs.”
  • after he had heard on what they were going to do to brook Brock was trying to figure out how to stop them from cloning brook. so he thought about giving him self rabies from brook.  and so he had made brook bit him on the nose in front of everyone.
  • and so they had to get the both of them out of the dome so that no one can get rabies or get sick from them. and so brock had stayed outside with with brook so that he can help and protect her at all times.
