  • Hey funny seeing you at the mall, what are you doing here?
  • Oh nothing just looking for some nice watches, everything is so expensive though.
  • That's probably because all these watches are from the united states. Items from the united states are very expensive.
  • Ya that's also what my friend said so I tried looking for watches from china like he suggested but I couldn't find any! Anyways I have to get going, come walk with me.
  • The reason you couldn't find any watches from china is because our country hasn't globalized with china yet.
  • HUH? What are you talking about? What does globalized mean?
  • Globalization is the process of growing connections around the world. its similar to international exchange
  • Hmmmm... I still don't get it.
  • Globalization is basically when a business/country starts operating globally and expands their trade globally to other countries. So if our country expanded trade with China it would be called globalization.
  • OHHHHHH. I get it now!
  • Fun fact Did you know in the early 20th century there was a rapid expansion in the globalization of the world's economies and technologies.
  • well it's because during this time more technology and products were being produced, most significant inventions we made around this time and countries wanted access to them.
  • Really? Why?
