Candy, we can't sleep with that stinkin' dog in here!
Carlson is right Candy. The dog is too old.
Hey! Look at me and talk to me!
George and Lennie have gotten off the bus to reach their new job at the ranch. With the Ranch being rather far than expected, night begins to fall. George and Lennie set up a small camp with a fire to settle in for the night.
Stop strugglin' it'll only hurt me more.
Carlson is tired of seeing Candy's old mutt stinking up the cabin. He begins to argue with Candy for him to shoot the poor dog in the back of the head right between the neck. Candy begins to refuse but Carlson forces Candy to let his mutt go. Slim was also siding with Carlson to shoot his mutt.
Ima shoot that big bastard right in the belly!
Look straight Lennie, you can almost see it!
As Lennie was playing with one of the pups Slim had given him. As they were playing, one of the pups he held bit his hand. So he hit the pup a bit too hard and accidentally killed the pup. As he was attempting to hide the puppy, Curley's wife walked into the Barn. As bored as she was, she began to talk to Lennie.
Let.. Let's do it now g-George! Let's get the wabb-
Curley's wife began to stroke her hair and brag about how soft her it is. Lennie, as much as he enjoys to stroke soft objects. He grabs here hair and begins to stroke. Over time, the stroking begins to tense up and hurt Curley's wife. She begins to make a big fuss and resist against Lennie. Lennie, not thinking clearly holds her down, by accident he breaks her neck.
Oh.. no! Now g-g-George no lettin' me tend no wabbits!
As Candy informed Curley about the news, Curley went into a rage He began gather up a search party with the other workers to find Lennie and lynch him. with george running out of time, he snatched Carlson's gun for his own use in the search for Lennie.
With Curley's mob seeking revenge. They're just a breathe away from George and Lennie. With Lennie's time running out. George calms him down by reminiscing about the farm, the lands, the chickens and most importantly. the wabbits. As Lennie becomes happy, George shoots him like Candy's dog. In the back of the head to prevent facing a bad death.
