- A young teenage girl named Hilary was asked by a couple to babysit their twins. Their house was creepy since it was near the woods which was surrounded by dead trees. Before the couple left the house, they put some strict that the twins and Hilary should follow, but Hilary bended some rules and that was because of her stubbornness.
- After a couple of hours it was time for the twins to go to bed, but they reminded Hilary to do the ritual, however, she didn’t do the ritual correctly so the spirits will not protect her from evil. Lots of weird things started to happen such as a puddle appearing in the living room while it was raining outside.
- Hilary tried to escape from the mysterious man so she went to the twins’ room and that gave her enough time to do the ritual correctly.
- She then heard the man screaming, after a while she opened the door and found nothing except his clothes. She was speechless, and then all of a sudden the twins’ yelled: “ GOT YOU!!!! “. It was a prank the whole time. Hilary was relieved yet angry and some other mixed emotions. Her mind was filled with questions such as why they did it and how they did it as well. The twins waited for her to calm down so they could answer all of her questions.
- At first the twins made Hilary believe that they were asleep and as soon as she went downstairs they went to the kitchen to steal the cookies to create suspense as to who ate them. The puddle was an illusion that was meant to make Hilary think that someone entered the house since it was raining outside. The location of the house was perfect because it helped create the spooky vibe, then Hilary realized that there was one missing thing that the twins didn’t mention which was the spooky and mysterious man who wore the gorilla mask, green shirt, and blue jeans.
- So Hilary asked about the mysterious man. The twins replied: “ What mysterious man?”.
