  • The French Revolution
  • This is outrageous! I cannot afford this for my family! We should revolt!
  • Bread prices rising
  • Bread prices rising
  • Looks like the prices are rising AGAIN. This harvest is tragic!
  • Similar to the Modern World
  • This is the worst heat of the century! All of my crops are dying!
  • If we do not fix this soon, the animals and people will starve!
  • Predictions
  • I cannot believe we ran out of food!
  • How are we going to feed the children?!
  • Oh no!
  • French peasants had to deal with two years of bad harvests prior to start the revolution. Economic policies that deregulated the price of grain contributed to the crisis.
  • The French Revolution
  • We cannot afford these payments! Why do the wealthy not pay taxes?
  • There is clearly favoritism in the system! We should take action against this!
  • The rich are treated so much better than us. We might as well starve.
  • The damaging heat in Europe is causing crops throughout the nation to die. As a result, the prices of wheat are increasing, and people are becoming needy.
  • Similar to the Modern World
  • I still have to beg for my family with the amount I am payed
  • I believe that if poor harvests continue in Europe, the countries of Europe will begin to have a lesser food supply and the people will become hungry. This could potentially lead to a revolution if the problem is not fixed and the people start to starve. Most likely, Europe will find a solution before that happens
  • Predictions
  • France had a social system that heavily favored the First and Second Estate (the clergy and nobility). Less than 3% of the population, these two groups, paid no taxes and controlled the government.
  • The lower-class citizens in the United States are not being treated well compared to the upper-class. The rich people are highly favored as they are payed more by an incredible amount, leaving the less fortunate to become poorer by the second
  • $
  • I think that if the poor are treated the way they are now, they will revolt against the government. The lower class are only getting worse, and the wealthy are not doing anything about it. To the people, this is unjust and must be stopped.
  • Give us equal pay!
  • We will not leave until you listen!
  • We want change!
