- Crossing the Threshold/Trials/Abyss
- Status Quo: Moana is only allowed to be in the Island but she wants to be able to go in the ocean even though it is forbidden to go past the reef. Call to Adventure: Moana must sail because her island is dying and she has to put the heart of Te-Fiti back in order to save her Island.
- Transformation/Resurrection
- Supernatural Aid/Mentor: Moana lands on Maui's island and he is going to help her put the heart of Te-Fiti back were it belongs. When Moana is sailing and she crosses the reef she finally enters her adventure.
- Gifts of the Goddess
- Crossing the Threshold: While traveling with Maui they encounter the Kakamora pirate ship and they try to kill and steal the heart of Te-Fiti from Mana and Maui. Maui and Moana enter the relam of monsters and get Maui's hook back. They are now ready to put the heart back.
- Resolution
- Transformation/Resurrection: While attempting to put the heart back Maui and Moana get injured. When they get injured Maui leaves and Moana stays alone. Here tho, TeFiti is glad her heart is back and is resurrected.
- GIfts of Goddess: After their boat breaks, Maui receives a new hook from Tefiti and him and Moana begins to fight and attempt to put the heart back.
- Resolution: After winning the fight and restoring the heart of tefiti, Moana arrives at her island she is finally able to be herself and do what she likes and her family join her in sailing. The island has been saved and Moana is teaching the other how to become voyagers again.
