Storyboard Text

  • The prince's father was always treating him with luxuries.
  • At Age 29, the Prince finally rides out of his castle four times. For the first three times he saw a different man suffering. But on the 4th time, the man was at peace! He was inspired to find the same fate as the 4th man.
  • So he resigned his position as prince and went to the gurus to find the truth of life, suffering and death. ....But he find the answers he was looking for, and went to try his own strategy...
  • At one point when he had been meditating under a fig tree for 49 days, he became enlightened. He found a new understanding of the cycle of life, death and rebirth. When he achieved this, he became known as the Buddha.
  • So the Buddha decided to go back into the world to teach others how to achieve the enlightenment as he had, he attracted many followers and his legacy lives on today.
