  • Cattle ranching became increaslingy important to New Mexico. This is because the cattle ranchers would travel to town, the sell the cattle.Then the army bought the meat to feed the soldiers

  • The impact of the railroad brought many people to New Mexico. It also brought new job opportunities for the new people to New Mexico. One of the jobs that brought people to New Mexico is mining.

  • A boomtown is a town that their population boomed over night.This is do to a new location for gold or silver. Silver city is an example.
  • Wild West
  • Harvey houses are restaurants that offer good food for a good price. They are named after a english man Fred Harvey.
