Britain had little money from the many wars the had been fighting in Europe so the looked to the colonists as a source of money.
Britain began passing unfair laws in order to export money from the colonists through taxes on daily items. This was unfair because colonists had no money for themselves and Britain didn't care.
The Beginning of the American Revolution
The colonists were angry and wanted to take action against the British, to do so they needed to from groups so eventually they banded together to form groups against the British, such as the Sons and Daughters of Liberty.
Declaration of Indepence
Eventually out of anger the colonist began to protest against Britain, this caused tension and acts of violence between the colonists and Britain. From all the tension the Boston Massacre happened.
From all the tensions and the Boston Massacre the colonists and Great Britain were equally furious these led to the battles of Concord and Lexington, these two battles started the American Revolution.
On the year 1776 the colonists officially stated they were seceding from Great Britain in a bill stating they're independence as a new country.
