A Thing, In A Place, Don't Like it? Try Again. At A Different Time
Good Day! My name is Alexander Smith, and I am here to talk about the Enlightenment!
The Enlightenment was completely different from the Great Awakening, In which the Enlightenment had to do with human reason and science, while the Great Awakening was about a great religious outbreak.
The Enlightenment had two major people important to the Enlightenment. There was Benjamin Franklin, and there was John Locke.
This here is Benjamin Franklin. He was a scientist of this time period. He heavily impacted on the Colonial Postal Service, but he was very famous for his inventions, such as the bifocals, the Franklin Stove, and the Lightning Rod.
And this man here is named John Locke. He was also a famous person in the colonies during the Enlightenment. He believed that the citizens of the colonies should have some sort of power, and should have some wright to talk back to the government and state their opinion.
And there you have it! That was The Enlightenment, all wrapped up. It was a wonderful time of advancement in both human reason, and in science. Thank you for reading this, and have a great rest of your Days! Cheerio!
