  • Lower- order skill may be important, BUT aim for something bigger, like higher-order skills: For example: problem solving, critical reasoning, evaluation, and creation. It may take some time to get there, but involving these skills should always be your goal.
  • • Higher-order thinking skills.
  • Little is not sufficient. Surround students with the target language. Use the target language as much as possible. Encourage natural speech whenever you can.
  • • An environment that is immersive and communicative. 
  • The more connections students make, the more meaningful and memorable the lesson will be. Look for help, try to integrate a lot more disciplines.
