"I'll take one of them, but have you take the other"
"We have to get them away from each other"
Remind me again why I have to clean EVERYTHING AGAIN
"YOUR SISTER IS COMING OVER!"
It all started at the hospital. The twins were born at 4:00 AM and they were separated by 4:30. "We have to get them away from each other," she had said, while cradling them, "they're too dangerous together." "Fine, I'll take one of them, but you have to take the other", he commented. She reluctantly handed over one of the twins. Soon after she was looking out the window, and watching as the night enveloped him.
"The...umm...study room is over here"
"It is time we can't put it off any longer", her dad had said an hour ago. She knew she had a twin, but she was happy pretending she was an only child, and here she was packing her clothes and thinking about her conversation. She had said no, but she knew her dad wouldn't take that for an answer. "Fine", she had sighed. Sophia watched as her dad beamed at her, and she knew she had made a mistake.
"Remind me again why I have to clean EVERYTHING AGAIN", she hollered over the vacuum. "Well, one reason is that," her mom paused, "YOUR SISTER IS COMING OVER!" She knew this, but she just wanted to make sure. This was going to be a disaster waiting to happen. Sarah gazed out the window and heard the old car before she saw it
"Who are you"
When Sophia and their dad entered the twins stared at each other, for what seemed like a million years. It looked like the frame had fallen off of a mirror. After some more awkward staring their parents ushered them into the study. They checked if anyone was there, there wasn't, and they hurled the door closed. "We have something for you", their dad murmured. He looked at their mother and she nodded. He displayed two necklaces with clocks on it hanging like monkeys on a vine. "That looks...umm...weird", Sarah said. Their dad slipped it over their head and watched as they started to fade away. Their mom smiled a weak smile, and exclaimed, "It is for the best."
Crash went the armor as the twins landed on it. "WHERE ARE WE", Sarah yelled. "Calm down," Sophia murmured, "our parents sent us here for a reason." "CALM DOWN," Sarah bellowed, "YOU NEED TO UNCALM DOWN!" Sophia sighed and barked, "IF WE ARE GOING TO GET OUT OF...THIS PLACE, WE HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER!" Sarah glared at Sophia and said," I wouldn't work with you even if it meant I would never get out of here" "FINE", hollered Sophia. They stormed off in their separate ways, but they couldn't find a single way out of there.
"YOU NEED TO UNCALM DOWN!"
After their argument, they went their separate ways, but they eventually found each other. "Fine," Sarah sighed finally, "I admit I need your help." Sophia just smiled and held out a something that looked like a really thin sword with a tiny silver ball at the end of it. They quickly picked the lock and stepped out into the sunlight. The moment they stepped out they were greeted with dueling knights and a stern man watching them. His gaze landed on them."Who are you", he exclaimed. The twins looked at each other and knew that they would always stick together after what had happened inside. They clasped each other's hand and Sophia opened her mouth.
