The Boston Tea Party was a protest made by the colonists (who disguised themselves as Natives by dumping in 342 chests of tea that were imported by the East India Company into the harbor. This was done to show England that they were tired of the taxes being imposed.
Stage 5: Treaty of ParisRevolutionaries (citizens) take control.
The Intolerable Acts of 1774, were a group of acts that did not allow the colonists' to use trading ports, have trails in Massachusetts, forced colonists' to host soldiers in their homes, and didn't let them have more than one town meeting.
In 1770, the colonists decided to protest and threw objects at the British soldiers. The soldiers got upset and angry and shot into a crowd of people, killing 5.
