Storyboard Text

  • Siddhartha Gautama was born in India and his father limited him to stay in the palace. He was happy with his wife and he laso had a child.
  • But one day he realised he wasn't that happy, and he wanted to see the world he left with one of his servants. He saw 4 things that shocked him. 1. A sick person crying in pain 2. An old person 3. A dead person 4. A holy man.
  • Siddhartha decided to become a holy man himself and snuck out of the palace brining his servant with him. He changed into simple cloths and gave his toyale robes to his ervant to bring back. he also cut all his hair off.
  • Sddhartha wandered for six years around northern India. Among that time he found a group of monks who believed that if the ate and drank as little as possible and thought a lot they would would understand the meaning of life. Siddhartha found this did not work for him so he kept going.
  • Then he found a fig tree mand meditated under for 46 days. Thenb he started to find the answers to his questions, some say then he became enlightened. Then he became the Buddha.
  • Then after 80 years the Buddha died, his word was still being spread through his disciples
  • He went back and told the monks what he had discovered and they became his first disciples.
  • They went off and spread the word to everyone in the Buddha's old village.
  • Today millions of people still follow the teachings of the Buddha.
