Once the bill is debated. The representatives will disagree or agree about the bill.A clerk read the bill and the representatives made changes. When changes are made , the bill is voted on.
The three methods for voting on a bill is viva voice, division, and recorded. This happens in the US House of Representatives. The bill passes if the majority of the house votes on the bill. The clerk certified the bill and it is send onto the U.S Senate.
Once the bill reaches the U.S Senate. It goes through the same process as it did in the U.S House of Representatives. The Senate then discuss the bill.So the bill is sent to the Senate floor to be voted on.Senates vote by voice and if majority of the Senate vote on the bill.It goes to the president.
The president has three choices, he/she can do with the bill.He/she can sign and pass, veto, or do nothing with bill.If he dose nothing with bill is called a pocket veto.
If the bill passes it becomes a law. That's how a bill is passed.
